Bowen, executive director of GetAced Academic Services Limited, made the assertion as education officials grapple with a 34 per cent pass rate in mathematics, a subject that is considered compulsory for students to pass if they want to access tertiary education. Jamaican students had a pass rate of 33 per cent, compared to 36 per cent across the Caribbean.
