Lawyers pleased with Privy Council verdict in Vybz Kartel murder appeal

#JamaicaGleaner MARCH 14, 2024: Attorneys for Shawn 'Shawn Storm' Campbell, the father-daughter duo Bert and Bianca Samuels, says they are pleased with the verdict handed down in the Privy Council. The attorneys for Vybz Kartel and his fellow murder accused are expected to seek bail while the Court of Appeal decides if they should face a retrial. This morning, the United Kingdom-based Privy Council upheld their appeal against their convictions and ordered that the Court of Appeal should consider the matter.
