A newly renovated Mineral Bath at Rockfort, Kingston reopens
Aug 28th, 2025 | Category: Special Reports | 15:37#JamaicaGleaner On Thursday, August 21, 2025, the ceremony for the official opening of the Caribbean Cement Company Rockfort Mineral Bath in Kingston took place. The spa complex, built on the site of a historic British fort and fed by radioactive mineral water from a cold spring, is known for its believed therapeutic and healing properties. It was closed in March 2020 at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
