The veteran trade unionist said that family and friends have always been at the centre of the holiday season for him. This Christmas, however, is shaping up differently for him. Not only does the COVID-19 pandemic put a damper on large gatherings in the festive spirit, but he was also still mourning his mom, who passed away earlier this year.
