Dec 11th, 2025 | Category: The Gleaner Minute | 1:57#JamaicaGleaner DECEMBER 11, 2025: One woman is dead and two men critically injured after she crashed her RAV4 into a bus while attempting to overtake traffic along the Queen’s Highway near the St Ann–Trelawny border this morning… The Auditor General is raising red flags about oversight at the Houses of Parliament after an “erroneous” $29-million credit card transaction went unnoticed for nearly five months… The Urban Development Corporation will host New Year’s Eve fireworks in Black River, St Elizabeth and Long Bay Beach in Negril, Westmoreland bringing celebrations to two parishes hardest hit by Hurricane Melissa… The Office of Utilities Regulation says both the Jamaica Public Service and National Water Commission will waive charges for customers who have been without service
