Frustrated Hellshire View purchasers stage protest over more delays

The community is being developed by Rite Solutions and the state agency Housing Agency of Jamaica (HAJ). After making down payments of up to $1.9 million, the would-be homeowners said they have been waiting three years with only an incomplete model unit to show. Their houses remain skeletons of rusted zinc and concrete slabs. The residents bemoaned yet another missed completion deadline by the developers, who say they will have to wait until December for an update on progress.
