#JamaicaGleaner SEPTEMBER 16, 2025: Dr Andrew Holness was sworn in on Tuesday for a third consecutive term as Prime Minister of Jamaica… Prosecutors say over 80 per cent of the witnesses in the multimillion-dollar fraud case against former Education Minister Ruel Reid and his four co-accused have been located, even as about 15 per cent cannot be located ahead of the October 6 trial… The Jamaica Constabulary Force is warning against the growing trend of fake kidnappings, with senior officers disclosing that some teenage girls are staging abductions to spend time with male friends… A two-year-old boy Tajaun Jackson and a 25-year-old businessman Kimarley ‘Beans’ Powell were shot dead in a drive-by along Grenmeade Road in St Andrew, on Monday night…
