#JamaicaGleaner NOVEMBER 20, 2024: The Kingston Western Police are probing the fatal stabbing of 11-year-old Amari Coley on Tuesday in downtown Kingston… Four men who were convicted for fatally stabbing 18-year-old Jovine Jones 42 times on October 9, 2009 and dumping his body beside a river in Hanover have lost their appeal to have their murder convictions overturned… Jamaica's economy contracted by 2.8 per cent in real value added, during the July to September 2024 quarter, due mainly to Hurricane Beryl which cost the island $32 billion… Consideration for the removal of taxes on tips and an efficiency committee headline is the Government’s pivot towards boosting economic growth… IN SPORTS: Jamaican Olympian Tovea Jenkins retires from track and field.
