#JamaicaGleaner JUNE 26, 2024: Information Minister Dr Dana Morris Dixon told Jamaicans on Wednesday that the Government's is ready to “go after” people who spread “blatant lies” online… A man was fatally shot by the police during an alleged confrontation near Old Harbour, St Catherine Wednesday morning… Twelve of the 16 caregivers who came to Jamaica to assist with the care of 59 Haitian orphans rescued from the French-speaking country in March were deported on Tuesday night… The Ministry of Health and Wellness is cautioning members of the public to guard against the effects of the Saharan dust which is expected to affect the island up to Thursday… IN SPORTS: The Jamaica Football Federation has suspended the selection of Leon Bailey
