Transport Authority protests trigger resignation talks
Jun 22nd, 2022 | Category: Special Reports | 2:54#JamaicaGleaner JUNE 22, 2022: Chairman Joseph Shoucair and senior managers of the Transport Authority are scheduled to meet with outgoing Managing Director Willard Hylton today after the public transport regulator was rocked by worker protests in Kingston and St James over the perceived ouster of the agency’s chief executive. Hylton’s letter of resignation was tendered on Monday and will take effect on June 30.
