Tufton shies away from CDC's Assessment of Jamaica
Jun 1st, 2022 | Category: Special Reports | 5:25#JamaicaGleaner #COVID #CDC JUNE 1, 2022: Health and Wellness Minister Dr Christopher Tufton, reacting to the American Centre for Disease Control (CDC) adding Jamaica as a high-risk country to travel because of COVID-19, said he preferred not to comment on what an institution in another jurisdiction classifies as risks. The CDC has moved Jamaica along with Anguilla, and the Turks and Caicos Islands to level 3 or high risk for COVID-19 contraction, up from level 2.
