Whitmore: Reggae Boyz going in right direction
Oct 15th, 2021 | Category: SPORTS | 5:34#JamaicaGleaner #ReggaeBoyz #FIFA #JFF #Football OCTOBER 15, 2021: National senior men’s football team head coach Theodore Whitmore said that their win over Honduras 2-0 in their FIFA World Cup qualifier on Wednesday is a big relief for the Reggae Boyz and a step in the right direction for the team. The win, which was the Reggae Boyz first over the Hondurans in that country, moved the Jamaicans off the bottom of the standings up to sixth place on five points and puts them back in the race for a spot at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar next year. The Reggae Boyz and the JFF team returned to the island yesterday, Thursday, October 14, 2021.
