75,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine arrive at NMIA

#JamaicaGleaner #COVIDVaccine #DrChristopherTufton #NMIA APRIL 8, 2021: Minister of Health and Wellness Dr Christopher Tufton was on hand to oversee the delivery of 75,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, a gift from the government and people of South Africa, at the Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA) on Wednesday, April 8, 2021. According to Dr Tufton, The COVID vaccination programme has been going well but is still dogged by ‘vaccination hesitancy’ which the government is planning to overcome with a greater public awareness drive.
