August 12, 2020: Seven current members of parliament will not be seeking re-election at the September 3 polls… The Jamaica Progressive Party (JPP) is taking issue with being excluded from planned talks between the Jamaica Labour Party and the People's National Party to discuss campaign issues…A hardware and electrical store in Santa Cruz, St Elizabeth owned by member of parliament for North East Elizabeth Evon Redman was broken into and robbed last night… Two men have been charged with rape, having sexual intercourse with a minor, abduction, grievous sexual assault and human trafficking… IN SPORTS: Russia has paid $6.3 million to World Athletics to avoid expulsion from track and field’s world governing body.
