"We need more days!", laments Ms Grant from Spanish Town
Apr 18th, 2020 | Category: Special Reports | 1:19#Jamaica #Coronavirus #Gleaner APRIL 18, 2020: Ms Grant, a resident of Spanish Town in St Catherine, says more than two days are needed for residents of the parish to carry out the purchase of essential items. She said social distancing was being ignored as people rush to get items in the stipulated time frame for each category. A line was seen outside the Spanish Town Shopping Centre as people tried to access the only Western Union open in the old capital. Similar remittance woes were echoed in Portmore earlier today. Shopping for essentials will end today at 8:00 pm.
