SEPTEMBER 2, 2019: A powerful Category 4 Hurricane Dorian continues to pound sections of The Bahamas… Several flights in and out of The Bahamas, Jamaica and Fort Lauderdale have been cancelled… It was the first day of school in Jamaica today and traffic was generally smooth… There is a significant drop in the volume of inflows to the Mona Treatment Plant in St Andrew… IN SPORTS: Jamaican footballers Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and sisters, Alison and Chantelle Swaby have withdrawn from national duties because of outstanding pay.
