Security Minister hands over 30 police cars to JCF

JULY 3, 2017: National Security Minister Robert Montague said there will now be more frequent vehicular stop and search operations by the police as they move to stem the trafficking of weapons at the Office of the Police Commissioner this morning. Receiving the cars on behalf of Police Commissioner George Quallo, Deputy Commissioner of Police Clifford Blake implored that the vehicles be used with care in the wake of an accident involving a police service vehicle at the intersection of Charles and East Streets, Downtown, Kingston.
