#JamaicaGleaner DECEMBER 18, 2025: Eighty-four Jamaicans were among hundreds of so-called “criminal aliens” arrested across several US states last weekend, as part of the mass deportation policy targeting the “worst of the worst”… An 18-year-old man from St Catherine, Kenroy Douglas, has been sentenced to 18 months in the Parish Court after pleading guilty to robbing a schoolboy of a $10,000 cellphone… A team of 117 electrical linesmen from Canada arrived in Jamaica Wednesday night to support JPS’s efforts to restore power in hurricane-hit western parishes… Corporal Shantel Powell of Area Five has won the 2025 Police of the Year Title in the LASCO/Jamaica Constabulary Force Saluting Our Heroes Awards… IN SPORTS: Glenmuir High and St Elizabeth Technical High (STETHS)
