Oct 9th, 2025 | Category: The Gleaner Minute | 1:22#JamaicaGleaner OCTOBER 9, 2025: Two men who the police say were suspects in Sunday’s deadly gun attack in Commodore, Linstead, St Catherine, in which nine people were shot, five fatally, were on Thursday shot and killed during separate operations in the parish… A fire at the Gallery Apartment in New Kingston claimed the life of a 74-year-old man on Thursday morning… The police in St Catherine are investigating the death of 55-year-old merchandiser Andrew Nelson of Mary's Field, whose body was found in his yard in Kitson Town on Wednesday… IN SPORTS: Marketing and communications expert Carlene Edwards says she is humbled by her appointment to the FIFA Women’s National Team Competitions Committee.
