The national shot put champion has struggled with balancing his employment and training as he worked to secure a spot on Jamaica’s team heading to the 2024 Paris Olympics. Campbell believes that despite making it to the final at the World Championships last year, he wasn't ambitious enough. Ranked 13th in the World this year, he has put in the strength work and hopes to secure a medal for Jamaica at the Olympics. The men’s shot put gets under way on Friday, August 2.
