Jul 11th, 2024 | Category: The Gleaner Minute | 1:54#JamaicaGleaner JULY 11, 2024: Jamaican entertainer Rygin King is facing criminal charges in New York City, in the United States, for possession of an illegal firearm… The police have recovered the body of 26-year-old Alric Moncrieffe, who was washed away by floodwaters in Havana, Arnett Gardens, St Andrew, during the passage of Hurricane Beryl last week… Opposition Leader Mark Golding says he has consulted with all 22 Opposition Parliamentarians and they have all stated they are not aware of being investigated by the Integrity Commission for illicit enrichment… The Jamaica Public Service Company has indicated that about 80,000 customers are still without power following the passage of Hurricane Beryl which caused extensive damage to electrical infrastructure a week ago… IN SPORTS:
