JAAA gets $12million assistance for Trials
Jun 18th, 2021 | Category: SPORTS | 12:50#JamaicaGleaner #JAAA #NationalSeniorAndJuniorChampionships #Sports JUNE 18, 2021: Jamaica Athletic Administrative Association (JAAA) president Garth Gayle says that the monetary assistance for the upcoming National Senior and Junior Championships will help to alleviate the expenditure that has already been incurred for this season. The Sports Development Foundation presented a check to the JAAA for $12 million towards the staging of the Championships at yesterday's (Thursday, June 17, 2021) event launch. The championships also known as Trials will begin next week Thursday to determine the national senior and junior teams for the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo Japan and World Under 20 Championships in Nairobi, Kenya respectively.
