Portland man fights to expunge criminal record
May 25th, 2021 | Category: News & Features | 11:37#JamaicaGleaner #Expungement #DavidHamilton #Canada MAY 25, 2021: Portland carpenter, David Hamilton, who says he was framed twice and ended up spending 8 months in prison some thirty years ago, is now seeking to have his records cleared but is lamenting the fact that there has been no update since his application for expungement was submitted almost a year ago. Hamilton, whose case is being championed by his Canadian common-law-wife, Patricia Trainor, is seeking to have a clean state to not only travel to Canada to meet his in-laws and to enjoy his spouse’s country but he has a hip replacement surgery to undergo and wants to have it done in Canada for free as a Canadian.
