Mar 3rd, 2021 | Category: News & Features | 6:14Funeral home directors are warning about mass burials before and after the newly announced ban on funerals take effect March 8 through to March 22. Since the announcement on Sunday, there have been numerous calls and visits from family members, some trying to reschedule for an earlier date. Local government minister, Desmond McKenzie, upon making the announcement said the government will be requesting funeral homes to waive or discount storage fees but Chief Executive Officer of Perry’s Funeral Home, Peter Perry said he believes the government should be the one paying the additional cost and he will not be waiving any fees.
